The Museum opens daily at 10 o'clock for non-members, 9 o'clock for active members with reservation. Allow for at least one hour to tour and participate in the activities. The Morrison Museum was designed to be toured with a guide, but you are welcome to explore the museum on your own. A 60-minute tour is offered three times daily at no additional charge. Daily tour reservations for small groups of less than ten are not required, but appreciated.

Morrison Natural History Museum is located 25 minutes west of downtown Denver in historic Morrison, Colorado at 501 Colorado Highway 8 in south Morrison, one and a half miles north of The Fort restaurant. When visiting, make it a day trip and visit Red Rocks Park, Dinosaur Ridge, Bear Creek Lake Park, and Bandimere Speedway. Take a break and linger in the shops and restaurants of the Town of Morrison.

"The museum is the perfect size for young, inquisitive minds - not overwhelming or time consuming."
Becky J., from our guestbook.
