  • General admission from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Building closed at 5:00 p.m. or when last ticket holders depart.
  • MNHM Members Preview: Open at 9:00 a.m. with reservation. Special members tour available.
  • Allow for at least 60 minutes to explore the museum.
  • Join us for a 60-minute tour, three times daily at a quarter past ten, twelve and two in the afternoon. Click on "home" for the Event Calendar to avoid large scheduled groups and tour cancellations.

  • Holiday Closures: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day Monday, Labor Day Monday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.

  • General Admission, age 12+: $7.00
  • Youth(age 3-11): $5.00
  • Age 0-2: Free
  • Current Morrison Museum Members: Free.

    Ticket Rates: March to October

  • General Admission, age 12+: $8.00
  • Youth(age 3-11): $6.00
  • Age 0-2: Free
  • Current Morrison Museum Members: Free.

  • Large groups (10+) require a reservation. Click on the "Book a Tour" tab above to create your reservation.
  • Head Start and disabled groups receive half-price regular admission. Care staff admission is complimentary.
  • Active US Military members, AAA members, and college students receive $1 off tickets with identification.
  • Teachers from the Denver Metro area receive free admission with a current school-issued identification.

    Program Fees

    School Tour - guided museum tour: (for up to 100 students/4 classes) $4.00 per student, $40 minimum

    Birthday Party - $199 flat rate for up to 25 people. Larger groups not recommended. Includes admission, guided tour, activities, and room rental.

    Unanticipated Closures

    The staff and volunteers at the Morrison Natural History Museum make every effort to honor the schedule posted here. However, there are certain situations that force us to close the MNHM. Closures will be posted on the Event Calendar, found on the homepage of this website, as well as the Museum's Facebook and Twitter feed.

  • If inclement weather creates hazardous driving conditions in Morrison area, the museum will be closed. Announcement of closure will be made through the homepage of this website, the event calendar, and social media outlets.
  • The MNHM relies on volunteers to operate. At this time, the museum employs one full-time and one part-time staff. Family emergencies do arise with little notice and they can force staff to close the museum. We ask for your patience and understanding in these situations.

  • The schedules listed here supersede all other listings. Prices and hours may change without notice.
